BOOK ME
I perform, teach, and run didgeridoo sound journeys, both independently and in collaboration with other musicians.
What I do can take quite different forms depending on the setting — from a live performance at a festival to a hands-on workshop for complete beginners. If you’re planning something and think I might be a good fit, get in touch and we can work out what would suit it.

PERFORMANCES
My performances centre on contemporary didgeridoo playing, rhythm and improvisation. Some pieces have a clear structure while others leave more room for the music to develop in the moment.
I perform solo and also collaborate with percussionists and other musicians. The didgeridoo can be surprisingly versatile: rhythmic and energetic in one piece, slower and more spacious in another.
I’m interested in performances where there is room for that range, whether that’s at a festival, an arts event, a retreat or somewhere a little less conventional.

WORKSHOPS
My workshops are hands-on introductions to the didgeridoo, designed so that complete beginners can experience the instrument rather than simply hear about it.
I introduce where the didgeridoo comes from and its cultural context, demonstrate some of what the instrument can do, and then get everyone playing. We explore how to produce the basic drone, how the breath, voice, tongue and cheeks change the sound, how rhythms are built, and introduce the idea of circular breathing.
The emphasis is on participation. You don’t need any musical experience, and instruments can be provided for the group.
Workshops can be adapted to different ages, group sizes and settings, from festivals and retreats to community events and private groups. We can discuss the format and length based on what you’re organising.
SCHOOL WORKSHOPS
School workshops
I also offer didgeridoo workshops for schools, combining music-making with an introduction to the instrument and its cultural origins.
Sessions can include a short performance and demonstration, learning to produce the basic drone, experimenting with rhythm, voice and different sounds, and an introduction to circular breathing. The emphasis is on getting pupils involved and giving them plenty of opportunity to play.
Workshops can be adapted to different ages, class sizes and the time available, and instruments can be provided.
SOUND JOURNEYS
I offer didgeridoo-led sound journeys where people can lie down, get comfortable and experience the instrument at close range, alongside other sounds where appropriate.
These sessions are less about performance and more about listening and experiencing the sound physically — the drone, rhythm, harmonics and vibrations of the didgeridoo moving through the space.
A sound journey can work as a standalone session or as part of a retreat, wellbeing event, festival or other gathering. The format can be adapted to the setting, so if you’re considering something particular, get in touch and we can discuss it.

COLLABORATION
I’m also interested in working with musicians, artists, facilitators and organisers on things that don’t fit neatly into one of the categories above.
If you have an idea involving didgeridoo, rhythm, sound or participation, send me a message. It doesn’t need to be completely worked out.

If you’re interested in booking me or have an idea for a collaboration, send me a message with a little about what you have in mind.
We can take it from there.
